Review of Renfield (2023) by Arkonblade — 01 Jul 2023
There are elements of a good movie in here and it times its kind of entertaining. unfortunately over all it just falls apart as a whole. Nick Cage is pretty entertaining as Dracula the guy who plays Renfield isnt bad, the rest of the cast... meh. especially the female lead. she was unlikable and her acting was not very good. Rebecca I think her name was, I don't remember she was very forgettable. The plot is Renfield is getting tired of being in a abusive relationship which they try to play for comedic affect but most of the jokes in the movie just fall flat.
The action is over the top and bloody ridicules which is about the only thing I found remotely funny or entertaining. Its about the only thing that saved me from not just shutting this off halfway through.
