A movie that never seems able to find the right path mostly thanks to a directionless script that adds plot elements and styles simply because it wants to rather than them actually benefiting the production, with its bolted-on love interest, very flawed ending, and inconsistent characters making for a largely wasted opportunity. It's not a terrible movie though; it's watchable, with a good cast, and it's quite well put together, but it really doesn't amount to anything other than a catch-if-you-can bloody sci-fi black action-comedy.
