Review of Return of the Jedi (1983) by Crusader — 22 Dec 2019
The end of the original saga. The weakest of the original trilogy IMO but again, not by much. Unlike others I never had any problems with the Ewoks (except for them eating humans that I felt was out of place) and I don't remember if I ever thought that Darth Vader should have stayed evil. I do remember reacting to how string and dark Luke had suddenly gotten. I also never liked the way Boba Fett was defeated because while funny, it kinda takes away the final showdown between him and Han that fans where waiting for.
Still, the ending always gives me chills.
