Review of Riddick (2013) by Michael B — 28 Jun 2016

A fun sci-fi adventure with the tried and true Riddick formula, I did like how they explained what happened with Riddick from the last film, how he fell out with the Necromongers and was supposedly killed by his lieutenant.

Adds nothing new but doesn't take away anything either, Just another fun Riddick film to sit back, turn off your sense of judgement and have a great time with, I hope it is the beginning of another trilogy of films but I fear the fact the didn't add anything to the formula means that previous fans won't migrate back to it, and it won't bring in many new fans.

In short, not good if you want a serious film, but perfect to have some buddies over and watch a fun flick.
