Review of Ride with the Devil (1999) by Stephen S — 16 Dec 2012
Ang Lee is an elite director. Like many greats he always seems to get the best performances from his actors and squeeze the most from his scripts, even when both are quality to begin with. This is probably one of the most candid and underrated war movies ever.
There are many awards that could've been offered here; none were. Personally, I will chalk this up as one of my favorites.
