Review of Ride with the Devil (1999) by Jordan R — 09 Aug 2008

Shows an aspect to the Civil War that is not often seen, with Tobey Maguire and Skeet Ulrich as friends who join the Southern Cause. Often I get annoyed when films portray the South in a positive light but this film makes clear that it's not a clear case of good and bad in such circumstances and the action scenes are well linked by the human stories.
