Rise of the planet of the apes is more than its campy sci fi predecessors its a look into the mind of humans themselves and theyre connection with apes. the way ceasar causes a revolution and all out war against the human race for the misstreatment of apes is a realistic portrayal of humans themselves.
theres fantastic special effects, great acting, and a climax that is a great spectacle to behold. this film takes a dumb concept and makes it sound like a masterpiece making rise of the planet of the apes a great watch.
