Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Dave G — 18 Jun 2018
A very effective reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise. It's not perfect, and the supposed eight-year time span in the film isn't altogether convincing, but Caesar's story is moving and compelling, and the rising up of the apes (as promised in the title) is massively cathartic.
