Review of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (2009) by Tim S — 02 Oct 2018
The movie is bad, like beyond bad, but that was what I expected for the early 90's action films. Like Three Musketteers the film is more focus on adding actors rather than trying to be true to the original story and adding anything original. But thats what makes it so much fun. I love watching how over the top evil Alan Rickman could be, I love this version of Friar Tuck and Little John, I love Morgan Freeman acting like a turk and being a badass before the film RED and Bruce Almighty, and hate me for this but this is the first time I actually believed in Kevin Costner's acting. Well half of the time anyways.
Its a guilty pleasure I wouldn't mind watching again and again.
