It so badly wants to be both a b rated movie, a block buster, a series, or basally any form of cinematic feature. Its a pretty good plot that could be refined with a bit of on being any of the above. B rated more quarky less thought, series well just explain more, and block buster dare I say more exposition.
With a little polish it could be a fantastic film. Not the worse regardless.
