Roma is a pretentious piece of garbage. The plot, if you can call it that, was the most boring slow paced thing I've ever seen that at one point I seriously wasn't sure if I had paused the film or it was just playing.

While some movies don't need to constantly move the plot, you at least need to fill it with some amazing acting, great dialogue, amazing music. Roma can't figure out how to do any of these things with average acting, little dialogue, and no music.

I would give the movie 1 star but it had some amazing cinematography and one beautifully haunting scene with a forest fire. Otherwise this movie try's to act so complex in its meaning it needs almost nothing to happen.

That makes for the boring pile of garbage, which is Roma.
