Ron's Gone Wrong's biggest problem is that it is about 30 minutes longer than it ideally should be. Many of the side plots are boring and take the attention away from the intriguing and heartfelt relationship between Barney and Ron.
Even so, there are some genuinely great moments between these two leads. Those moments along with some terrific animation make this a worthwhile but not obligatory watch for animation fans.
