Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Sasy N — 23 Oct 2010
Though I havent seen it performed on stage as of yet, it is immediately apparent that this plays better on the stage than in the film. there are a few scattered moments where you can tell that it plays on screen as it was written.
the truly bright spot in the film, though, was gary oldman. the interpretation of his dense character is comically on time at every turn.
