Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Prach P — 23 Oct 2012
This film's script is full of gibberish made to appear clever. The two main characters try all the time to outwit each other by talking fast using words like "probability", "law of diminishing returns", and "universals and particulars". Their statements are either shallow, empty or non-sensical.
Another annoying thing is that the film keeps making references to famous scientific discoveries and characters in Greek mythologies unnecessarily. References are interesting only when you say something about the things referred, and not just refer to them for the sake of referring.
