If you don't know "Hamlet", see it (or read it) first. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two very minor characters in the play. In this movie "Hamlet" happens from their point of view - strange and interesting and funny.
It gets off to a slow start (my opinion) but is clever and very well done - Oldman and Roth are worth watching in this tale.
