Review of Same Kind of Different as Me (2017) by Elizabeth M — 26 Oct 2017
Interesting movie. It was awkward at times - so not perfect, and a bit undeveloped, but at times it was also very powerful. One scene with Renee Zellweger and Djimon Hounsou silently sitting with one another was incredibly moving.
Their skill as actors shone through their eyes and body language - a great scene. I liked that the movie showed the relationship was a two way street - both sides essential to each other. Not perfect, but worth seeing.
