Review of Sarah, Plain and Tall (1991) by Ashley H — 25 Mar 2006
Sarah, Plain and Tall was a pleasure to watch. It was a simple and just as it should've been. Sarah, almost a mail order bride, comes to live with widower and his two children on the prairie and her life is never the same.
Story revolves around friendships formed, ideals changed and above all importance of family. No character is a sterotype they're realistic but are good human beings. Glenn Close and Christopher Walken bring many truths to their characters and chemistry between is real and heartfelt.
A great movie to watch with the family.
