About as funny as one would think a documentary on SNL could be, but also surprisingly interesting and intelligent. Really, there isn't much to this film structurally- Franco essentially hung out with some good friends and recorded their process, and that's that.
But what he exposes is a job that is far harder than we think it is. These people never sleep or eat, and each week they come up with more good ideas that most of us do in a year. (SxSW).
