VEry cute. not dull. sometimes you can predict what will happen, but not always, especially a part near the end. I agree with the majority of the critics who like this movie, however, I also have o agree with some of the critics who discuss the fact that the ending was way too liberaly for the chinese american culture. There were not any consequences at the end, and though I liked that they didnt have any, it just seemed a little too easy. buit then again, it was a romantic comedy and those ALWAYS end happy. That's why I fucking like them.

And the actresses were damn fine! And joan chen did a marvelous job playing a neurotic mother. I would buy this movie!
