This movie is filled with action, drama, and some humor. It follows a different hero from the action/war related movies in that the heroes are cartel. They group consists of the head being a legend/ respected head cartel guy, some other respected cartel guys, an enemy cartel member who share the role as the black sheep of the group and an old child-hood pal who is reformed from the lifestyle of the cartel.

This should'nt scare away people from the movie however cause the movie shares a emotional bond that everyone can probably relate to: la familia. The basic plot is the older brother goes on a journey to save his younger brother.

The drama placed into the plot of the movie shares that sense of the passion emphasised in spanish-opera and old western movies from the 60's. The small minor conflict with the US military was intresting also since this is a spanish movie, I don't know that much about that stuff but it just seems to give the viewer a small insight on how other countries view conflicts that are surging between/ within other countries.

The main point is the strong bond of family being most important above all other priorties. Hey, it's also not every day when you get to see people dressed up in cowboy esque getup running around in the middle eastern deserts; at least I'm not aware if that really does happen cause who knows with this crazy little world we live in.
