Review of Scoop (2006) by Brian D — 28 Jul 2011
I absolutely love this movie and can't fathom why it was overwhelmingly rejected by critics. Granted Allen is an acquired taste, but this film wrestles with the same themes as critical darling Match Point and even to my mind addresses some of that film's shortcomings.
Everyone I've recommended this to seems to come away quite satisfied.
