Review of Scoop (2006) by Sebastian O — 20 Sep 2013
While the critics are correct in saying that Scoop is filled with one-liners is overall silly, the purpose of the film is to add a quirky character in the context of a mystery. While I admit that the comedy works only half the time, the plot is interesting, easy to follow, and has the charm that makes Allen's movies so special.
It's entertaining and well-acted, and it doesn't hurt to watch such a film once in a while.
