Better than the first one. All of the cop subplot shenanigans were a retread ("van Helsing" even goes to the library again to find out about vampires). As Mamuwalde, William Marshall is both more menancing and more moving.
He even beats up some pimps. (However, he then vampirizes them, negating the benefits to society of the original beat-down.) Also has Pam Grier as a voodoo priestess, which is good for 0.5 stars right there.
