Review of Se7en (1995) by Tom M — 09 Jul 2018
Literally a basic paint-by-numbers serial killer plot that's boiled to an amazing haze of almost "Blade Runner"-like atmosphere by an exceptional cast, director, and cinematographer. They combine to make it seem much smarter than the story actually is, but it all comes together to rival "Silence of the Lambs" in the gritty crime noir genre.
