"Set It Up" has a simple enough premise but its likable characters are what makes it a winner in the romantic comedy genre. I liked how this movie really feels like a romcom set in the modern age with clever jokes and scenarios.
I think everyone gives a good performance in the movie but I think the standout is Zoey Deutch who's character is instantly likable. The story does have some predictable elements but there are other elements that genuinely surprised me.
Overall, it's a solid romcom that fans of the genre who have access to Netflix should definitely check out.
