A well-handled adaptation of a great story... it doesn't shy away from the war story but artistically and subtly conveys the larger context without being too scary for the youngest patrons. And who can resist a good dog story, especially when it's true! Loved the real photos in the end credits.
An animated film with substance is rare these days. Kudos Fun Academy!
