Review of Shade (2014) by Adam S — 07 Mar 2010
Very smart movie about grifts and card sharks with an excellent cast and a dynamite script. Everybody in the movie is excellent, right down to a cameo from Hal Holbrook that reminds me of the "abyss" speech he gives to Charlie Sheen in Wall Street.
Stallone is excellent in a non action role and this is a movie well worth renting. It's currently on FLIX, which is part of the Showtime package.
