If one is able to accept Shadow in the Cloud as the fictional, non-historic sci-fi horror movie that it is and suspends belief a bit, one can enjoy a strong performance by Chloë Grace Moretz and a genuinely good, tension-creating thriller.
Just remember: It is all fictional. Except the social commentary.
