Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Greg R — 19 Dec 2018
I'm not crazy about Malkovich as an actor but Shadow of the Vampire I actually found to be a entertaining movie. The tone feels like its paying homage to classic horror movies, combining that mix of what use to be seen as frights back then with its cheesiness at the same time.
Willem DaFoe might give one of his more entertaining over the top performances until he would soon later be the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spiderman.
