Review of Shaun of the Dead (2004) by The3Academysins — 25 Jan 2020
The most memorable zombie comedy to date, Shaun of the Dead is just as good now as when it came out 16 years ago. As the first entry in Edgar Wright's Three Cornettos trilogy, it establishes a lot of ideas and elements that carry through all three films.
The movie is thought provoking, sad when it needs to be sad, funny when it needs to be funny, and gory when it needs to be gory. There are a few slow scenes in the film, but this is a must-see for any zombie or comedy fan.
