Review of Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) by Spiralnexus — 07 Apr 2023

The movie pacing was off but overall a fun experience I get where they were going but this movie felt like it was missing something and that the writers had to write around what was missing and I personally think it was black adam really as billy had the coming of age kind of trope and the movie lack the dark tone that it would of had if black adam was in it countering the teen humor of the child as he would had killed and cause collateral damage.

I am not blaming anybody but the movie really lacked the dark tone a nemesis that the first one had leading onto this movie. I feel as though this was a wasted opportunity and hope the entire universe makes it into the gunn dc universe as it could benefit from it.
