Review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) by The Phantom C — 05 Mar 2014
Really enjoyed this, thought it was an improvement on the first film and had some truly awesome scenes, the escape through the woods being a particular stand out moment. Predictable at times and not a lot of imagination regarding scripting, it is held together by a great cast who appear to relish in the material.
Jared Harris steals the show as a great moriarty, smooth, suave and deadly! you cant help feel he doesnt get the screen time the character deserves. these are minor gripes though, this is a highly entertaining romp with laughs a plenty and enough well directed action that it never gets boring.
A trilogy would be amazing....
