Not very credible story of a middle-class stockbroker who loses everything because of a mistake- he gets into an auto accident when drunk. As a result he ends up in prison, where to survive he has to join a gang.
The deeper and more important he becomes in the gang, the less credible the movie is. Why does he stay in the gang and abandon his family after he is out of jail? The plot just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
