Shrek Forever After saved everything. The previous part was forgotten here and the second part was forgotten here because of the fact (now a smaller spoiler) that Shrek returns here in time. To avoid spoilers, I won't say more.

Let me just say that it works. The story is excellent in my opinion. The animation has also improved a lot and the soundtrack is nice. Overall, in my opinion, it's about saving the series and an excellent ending, even though there are still some rumors about the fifth part.
