It is hard to understand why someone would not like this movie if they do not know much of the story. I happen to find this movie was very well directed , there was great acting from pretty much all the cast.
I highly recommend it. I enjoyed watching it and tried not taking sides. Religious movies are controversial and this one is one of those. watch it with an opened mind and you will see this is a great Martin Scorsese film.
