A poor, boring re-skinning of a better first installment, Dame to Kill forgets all the fun characters and emotional beats of the origin and tries to coast on style alone. There are some good moments sprinkled in but a quarter of the way through I began checking my phone and before it was over I fully and unabashedly checked out.
