Review of Skyscraper (2018) by Bfoore90 — 01 May 2019
The Rock is incredible in this, again proving he has the acting chops to succeed in Hollywood. The performances as a whole are very strong, Neve Campbell is fantastic as a strong and capable wife. The problem with this movie as a whole, while it obviously "pays homage to Die Hard, Towering Inferno, ect" theres a difference between paying homage and ripping off.
With that being said, it's a solid film but could have benefited more from being it's own film.
