Michael Moore's documentaries are always flawed, they are too one-sided and he never gives his opposition a fair hearing which is counter productive as this ends up damaging his own argument. This isn't usually a problem for me because more often than not I agree with what he has to say.

While this is true of Slacker Uprising, this is shown with so much bias that it has absolutely no credibility. If Moore is so convinced of his democratic beliefs, then why does he limit his republican opposers to cut up dialogue of them making a mess of speeches and quotes, it has the adverse affect and makes you feel sorry for them.

That this movie was released at all is a mystery to me, following Moore's failed campaign to oust George Bush from office, the fact we all know the outcome means it's quite embarrassing to watch the initial smugness.

This almost doesn't feel like a documentary at all, more a piece of self indulgent dribble. There is no narration which is strange, maybe Moore couldn't bring himself to retrospectively do it, after all what could he say? Apart from anything else though, and this is what you can never normally accuse Moore of, this is tedious and repetitive, simply following Moore on a campaign trail.

In his documentaries he accuses his opposers of lying, of self importance and of forcing the public to believe whatever they have to say, with this piece of terrible doc making he has become everything he hates.

Undoubtedly a good hearted guy and a gifted film maker, lets hope he spends a little less time in front of the camera and more behind it.
