Review of Smile (2022) by Jamonhd — 23 Oct 2022

I liked this movie so much that I had to watch it twice this week. It shocked the hell out of me, but i'm glad that I didnt watched the trailer because it spoiled to many good scenes of the movie. The pacing is pretty nice, the main character is well written and acted.

There are quite a lot of jump scares in this movie, but I liked nearly all of them. The sound design and music is on point and the camera work is pretty unique. The end was a bit mindblowing, but for what it wanted to be, a little too huge.

One cgi effect wasn't looking that much, but what schould they do with 17 million dollar. If I should pick one "boring" scene, it would be the prison scene, but every other scene is more tense than mc donalds beef if someone understands what I mean.
