The movie follows Riz Ahmed's character journey from being a musician to deaf, and to seeking help and medical recovery, and in the journey to rediscovering who he is, what we hear in the majority of the sound what Ruben have heard, also reflect of reality what normal person can hear.
Riz Ahmed is great, subtle performance which still see his emotion changes through the journey. Paul Paci, who is fantastic in this role, his character is so emotionally connect to Ruben, he wants the best for him but also he has to protect the community.
Cooke is great. hope to see both Ahmed and Paci to be nominated.
