Derivative, lazy, cheap, and unfunny, Space Chimps is a prime example of a bad children's movie. The whole thing feels ripped off from better kid's movies, and the whole thing is just a waste of time. There are no lessons or value to be obtained from this movie.
However, there are a couple laughs from genuinely "so-bad-it's-good" moments.
