Review of Spectre (2015) by Don S — 20 Oct 2018
This Bond seemed geared to be an ending: the end of the 00 program, the end to cool gadgets (there really weren't any in this one - there were gadgets but they were lackluster), the end to high class, ultra sexy Bond ladies (Seydoux is attractive, but she is too young for this Bond and just doesn't have the presence of a Bond love interest), and the end of Craig as Bond (which appears to not be true four years later).
This movie is an average action movie. The story is simple: England is moving away from the 00 program to a more technological basis for intel. Bond has gone rogue and continues trying to bring down SPECTRE.
Lots of bullets and explosions. Not much else going on. It has moments of greatness, but the finished product is only okay.
