I'm not sure I like what this is doing for the Bond franchise. It wants to act like it's very important, and that everything in other Daniel Craig Bond movies was really controlled by this villain.

But by doing that you are saying the movies that came before are insignificant. As a standalone movie, it's fine. The parts on the train are probably the best. I thought the opening sequence was average at best.

Christoph Waltz has done better work. I'm just not sure what direction Bond goes from here.
