Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by John C — 16 Dec 2018

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' is a prime exhibit in the argument that every comic book film should be animated. The sheer amount of visual wonder on display here can't be overstated and it simply can't be matched by even the finest live action special effects.

But even more than being a visual stunner, this film has heart and humor in spades. I was floored by how moved I was by the story and fell instantly in love with every character introduced to us. I can't wait to revisit the world of this film in the inevitable sequels but until then I'll be happy to relive this one over and over again.
