Review of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) by Valbal — 17 Dec 2021

I had a blast watching this film in a packed theater with crowd cheerfully reacting to big moments. It doesn’t disappoint in fan service department and what’s great that it serves a purpose in terms of story.

Comedy was done extremely well for the most part (except for some jokes here and there that didn’t land at all) but I felt that during the second half of the film there were too many jokes that conflicted with high stakes situation that characters were facing.

In addition, certain moments seemed like an antidote to critical thinking. Some of the issues could have been resolved without that much trouble and ultimately the ending feels like a bit of a letdown for that same reason.

Although far from perfect, Spider-Man No way home is a must-see for all long time spidey fans.
