Review of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) by Acidcasual — 18 Dec 2021
Just not convincing enough. The story was interesting enough but didn’t have the epic moments that made you think ‘wow’. Tom Holland, doesn’t do a convincing American accent and for some reason makes his role a little less authentic and likeable. The film really was more a biopic of Spider-Man and all the other actors etc are there to support his storyline. In many Marvel films, there’s bigger stories weaving it’s way throughout to add depth, But here, none. Just Spidies internal struggle. Dr Strange’s role in the film was whimsical.
The bad guys were mainly just their to fill the narrative and not create any real surprise. (Except one major surprise).
Worth the watch but forgettable.
