The point is, beyond the main sequence plot line, Saw is no longer fit for adaptation since, no matter how to replicate Saw's outstanding torture and death technique, the future sequels would simply be copycats, like in the case of Spiral: Not enough to be considered Saw IX, but a spin-off from the Book of Saw.
