Review of Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams (2002) by Baurushan J — 30 Oct 2012
I don't remember much but the climax fight was awesome. The story is about Carmen and Juni, the two kids from the first movie who are both now officially spies/agents for the OSS. But things go out of hands as another crisis situation rises as they head off to The Island Of Lost Dreams where they have to reclaim to the powerful Transmooker Device.
Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino return as the kids' parents and Alan Cummings and Tony Shalhoub return as the evil-doers. The film keeps it's creativity, it's energy and flow of ideas going.
For the second time, Robert Rodriguez has turned to his kiddy-side again after the first Spy Kids film. As creative as the first film was, this film set the bar higher for another movie that was Spy Kids 3D: Game Over.
Spy Kids 2: The Island Of Lost Dreams gets a 9.5/10.
