Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Matthew C — 17 Jun 2013
Revisited about 15 years after watching it the first time, no idea why this is considered a great film. I can't take Shatner seriously and expected Montalban to be better. Very predictable with the usual cheap trick to get the enterprise out of trouble (luckily it didn't involve just inventing a sci-fi phenomena).
Although the story is uninteresting, the idea of Kirk dealing with his age provided something as did Spock's 'death'. Even so, very disappointing.
