The Phantom Menace is a very disappointing movie. It’s not a terrible movie, but it’s a dissapointing movie. There were some good scenes in the film, and Darth Maul is a compelling villain. But there’s a lot of bad acting and bad dialogue, Jar Jar binks is very annoying, there’s too much dated CGI, and this film has too much senate meetings and politics.

But overall this film is a mixed bag.
